The Working Man’s Classic is scheduled for June 22-24. We’ll have it on Bikereg soon. Same format that you loved the first two years. Register at www.bikereg.com. Here are some details:
- Racing starts at 6PM with the 4/5 race, Pro/1/2/3 starts immediately afterwards.
- Prime (bonus sprint prize) every lap. This may be cash, it may be awesome product donated by local sponsors.
- Special back-of-course bonus line one night with extra primes.
- Nightly payout – $100 for the 4/5, $300 for the 1/2/3.
- Prizes and special trophy for overall points winners. Points awarded 7 deep nightly. Bonus points will be available nightly.
- Big special prize in the 1/2/3 for the first rider to lap the field and then win a prime. This is a new one!
- Three variations of the Bryan Park Tuesday course. Thursday night includes the make or break hard right corner as in years before. We are not allowed to race the full Azalea Loop (used in the Carytown Circuit Race), so don’t ask.
- Lots of local sponsors already on board – Cullop’s Import, Carytown Bicycle Company, Legends Salon and Day Spa, and a whole lot more.
